Cetal suppositories and lozenges are used to temporarily relieve mild to moderate pain such as headaches, sore throats, toothaches, and discomfort after tooth extraction. They also help with symptoms of colds, flu, tonsillitis, and general inflammation. To use the suppository, lubricate the tip with water or a water‑based lubricant, insert it into the rectum, and press it against the rectal wall for a few seconds to keep it in place.
