A John Carpenter game is where you win the Million Dollars in any Who Wants to Be a Millionaire video game without using a single lifeline. The game was released in October 2004 as one of eight different games based on the UK 2nd Edition DVD game. It is one of only three, along with the Spanish and Swedish versions, that do not feature host video packages after each question. Gerry Scotti does not provide his own vocals; instead, voice actor Marco Balzarotti narrates. The win cutscene is identical to that of the UK 2nd Edition DVD and the Australian 1st Edition DVD, with the same prize draw.
