Iran’s Revolutionary Guard commander Hossein Salami killed in Israeli strike

Iranian state media has confirmed the death of IRGC Commander Hossein Salami in an Israeli strike on the IRGC headquarters. Salami was a key figure in Iran’s military leadership and oversaw its ballistic missile arsenal. Israel believes it also killed Iran’s top military chief, Mohammad Bagheri, along with other senior officers and nuclear scientists. The IRGC is a powerful force within Iran’s theocratic regime, the Times of Israel has reported.
