Vowing revenge, he learns that Begüm Hatun was responsible for the murder and sets out to confront Begüm and Ilbay. The episode follows his efforts to halt the burial of Bala Hatun in Söğüt, redirecting it to the Kayı ancestral site, and his preparations to reclaim the site from Ulugan and Ilbay.
