In this video, I enter the fish market in Alexandria, Egypt, showing the real atmosphere, prices, and tensions a tourist might experience. From the mosque to the market, you feel the need to be careful. Inside, the market is a different world with seafood everywhere, crowded stalls, strong smells, and dozens of people working in small shops. I show where the fish come from, how they are cleaned and cooked, and share prices. There are various fish, shrimp, crab, and other products. Some vendors are friendly, but some change prices when they realize you are a tourist, even when you are drinking tea. The atmosphere becomes more tense; a man suddenly approaches me claiming he filmed my wife and daughter, and I realize how important it is to stay calm, avoid arguments, and protect personal belongings. The video shows the real face of the fish market in Egypt and the realities tourists experience.
