Queen Elizabeth II and French President lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Britain's Queen Elizabeth and French President Francois Hollande laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Paris on Thursday. Hollande later welcomed her to the Elysee Palace, his official residence in the French capital. Accompanied by her husband Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth is making a three-day state visit to France. On Friday, the royal couple will attend events in Normandy to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
