In this video I walk through the streets of Maimana in northern Afghanistan, interacting with locals such as Turkmen, Uzbek, and other residents, and exploring the markets to show everyday life and cultural coexistence. While traveling, Taliban forces intervene, telling me not to film and interrogating me, turning a routine trip into a tense scene. Despite the tension, the warmth of the people, the kindness of vendors, and conversations with Afghan speakers change the atmosphere.
