The MF01X RC Rally Mercedes is being tuned with home‑brew carbon fibre shock towers, 65mm oil shocks from China, 50wt oil in the front and 70wt rear, racing medium springs, a semi‑locked rear diff, and 6mm offset rally wheels and tyres. The stock Torque‑tuned motor runs on a 5500 mAh 2S Li‑Po. The rebuild results in noticeably improved damping and handling compared to stock, and the next steps include fitting an MK2 Golf GTI body and possibly a higher‑power motor.
