Xandria has returned with the new EP "Universal Tales", featuring nine tracks that include four brand‑new songs, a freshly recorded acoustic film‑score version of "The Wonders Still Awaiting", and orchestral renditions of the new material. The music and lyrics were written and produced by Marco Heubaum, while vocals were recorded and co‑produced by Christoph Wieczorek at Sawdust Studios. Orchestral arrangements and sound design were handled by Lukas Knoebl, and the choir was performed by the Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir. The track was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen. The accompanying video was directed by AVA Studios, with concept and story by Ambre Vourvahis. The single "Reborn" marks the debut of new vocalist Ambre Vourvahis, whose diverse vocal facets are already evident and promise further surprises. The release also introduces new band members Dimitrios Gatsios on drums, Tim Schwarz on bass, and Rob Klawonn on guitar. Former members Philip, Gerit, and Marco have moved on to new projects, and the band expressed gratitude for the shared journey and wished them all the best. Philip, Gerit, and Marco said: "After a long journey together, during which we shared great experiences and developed in different directions, we have decided that it is time for each of us to go our own way.
