A John Carpenter Game is a variation of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire format in which the player must win the million dollars without using any lifelines. 50×15 ¿Quiere ser millonario? DVD was released in November 2004 and is one of nine games based on the UK Second Edition DVD version. Similar to the Italian and Swedish editions, it omits a live host; instead Spanish voice actor Leopold Ballestros delivers the questions and commentary, while Carlos Sobrera provides no commentary. The game appeared three years after the TV series was axed in 2001, marking a brief revival of the franchise.
