On Easter Saturday 2025, I set out on a memorable drive into the picturesque Fichtelgebirge with my Porsche 911 992.1 GT3 RS, following a rainy Karfreitag that left the region in full spring bloom. The journey covered 212 kilometres over three hours, consuming only 12.3 litres, and showcased the car’s dynamic shifting and precise cornering as it approached the 1,000‑km milestone of its break‑in phase. Along the winding roads, I captured the scenery with GoPro and POV footage, noting the enthusiastic reactions of fellow road users and the sense of the car gliding like on rails through the forested landscape. The trip concluded with a final 52‑km stretch, leaving me eager for the next adventure and the fully seasoned GT3 RS on future routes.
