Attempted murder arrest after crash at Liverpool soccer team’s parade

A 53‑year‑old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and driving offenses after a car crashed into a crowd during Liverpool’s victory parade for their Premier League trophy. The incident injured 65 people but is not being treated as terrorism. Police say the suspect was also arrested for dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs, Axios has reported. Eleven people remain hospitalized in stable condition.
