Description :

Set in the late 1950s West Coast beatnik scene, the film follows Walter Paisley, a busboy at the Yellow Door café, who becomes obsessed with creating sculptures of the people around him. After accidentally killing the landlady’s cat and covering it in clay, Walter’s art gains notoriety, leading to a series of increasingly macabre creations—including a statue of a model he kills, a buzzsaw‑cut head, and a final piece that ends in his own suicide. As his work attracts the attention of the café owner, a poet, and the police, Walter’s descent into violence and obsession culminates in a chaotic exhibit where the truth of his art is revealed, and he ultimately hangs himself, leaving the audience to ponder the line between art and madness.
