I built a car wash and had to decide how to heat the water. I first installed a diesel boiler, but it was inconvenient, expensive, and required a dedicated operator. Then I installed a heat pump, which solved everything. I now enjoy the comfort of an electric boiler with the cost of a gas supply. The payback period is a couple of years compared to zero for gas. My colleagues and other car wash owners now come to me, are surprised, and want the same solution. An electric boiler is only a backup.
