Aztec Batman: The Clash Of Empires Is Essentially a Reimagining of The Dark Knight | SDCC 2025

IGN interviewed voice actors Horacio García Rojas (Yohualli/Batman) and Raymond Cruz (Yoka/Joker) at San Diego Comic Con 2025 about the upcoming animated DC film Batman Azteca: Choque de Imperios (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires). Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Ánima, and Chatrone and directed by Juan Meza‑Léon, the film places the iconic DC superhero against the backdrop of Mexico’s rich history. The Spanish audio version features Mexican talent including Horacio García Rojas, Omar Chaparro, and Álvaro Morte, while the English voice cast includes Jay Hernandez and Raymond Cruz. In the U.S., the film will be available digitally on September 19 via Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, Fandango at Home, and other platforms, and will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu‑ray, and DVD on September 23. It will be offered in both Spanish and English versions.
