First wave of Epstein files is being sent to Congress, says Oversight Committee chair

The House Oversight Committee plans to receive hundreds of documents Friday related to the DOJ investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, prompted by a congressional subpoena. Chairman James Comer said some files might be made public. The subpoenas also seek testimony from high‑profile figures such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, former FBI directors James Comey and Robert Mueller, and former attorneys general Merrick Garland and Bill Barr. Epstein died by suicide six years ago while awaiting trial on sex‑trafficking charges.
