French President Emmanuel Macron announces that the UK and France will increase their Combined Joint Expeditionary Force (CJEF) to 50,000 troops. Speaking at a press conference at Northwood military base alongside UK PM Keir Starmer, the French President says this fivefold increase will mean the nations will become 'capable of being deployed in a major engagement'.
