Mushroom killer Erin Patterson's life in prison revealed

Old prison inmates of mushroom cook killer Erin Patterson say the 50‑year‑old wants to be the centre of attention. One former inmate of Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, who shared a room with Patterson, described her as entitled, arrogant and rude. She also said the mushroom killer hated her ex‑husband Simon Patterson and made comments about killing him once she was out of prison. During Patterson’s marathon trial, before a jury found her guilty of three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder, text messages between the former couple were tendered into evidence. The former inmate also alleged Patterson was moved from the unit due to an alleged poisoning incident, but the Department of Justice said there was no evidence to support that there were any suspected poisonings in the centre.
