On July 7, 2025, residents of the municipal okrug of Koroleva were attacked by masked individuals, one woman sustained injuries. The residents suspect the attackers were acting on orders from corrupt officials of the Koroleva administration, including Governor Andrey Vorobyev, Council Chairman Alexander Khodryev, and Head Igor Trifonov. They are demanding intervention from President Vladimir Putin, the Prosecutor General, and the Investigative Committee to halt the planned construction of a road through the national park "Losiny Ostrov" and to prosecute the attackers.
