Portuguese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro casts ballot in snap election | AFP

Portuguese Prime Minister and leader of the centre-right Democratic Alliance (AD) Luis Montenegro votes in parliamentary elections in the city of Espinho. Montenegro is tipped to win, but without securing a majority in parliament. The snap election was called after Montenegro lost a parliamentary vote of confidence which he put forward himself following accusations of conflicts of interest stemming from his consultancy business.
