Description :

Rust is a multiplayer survival simulator developed by the independent British studio Facepunch, originally inspired by DayZ and Minecraft. The game has evolved through Rust Legacy and Rust Experimental, with significant graphical changes. The developers aim for realistic colors and effects, adding weather such as rain and fog. In the Experimental version, animal models were updated, zombies removed, health metrics for animals altered, and the building system was revamped—half-blocks were removed, double doors and hatchways added, and doors now need to be crafted separately based on type. Stability of constructions was improved, and decay now affects not only building blocks but also other items like sleeping bags and tool cabinets. Most items from Rust Legacy carry over to Experimental, though some have been removed or modified. New armor types have been introduced, ranging from animal hide clothing to road sign armor. The map is procedurally generated, meaning there is no single shared map across servers. Hunger and thirst scales were changed, and metabolism was reworked so that sprinting or physical work causes the character to become hungry.
