Bryan Kohberger, who stabbed four University of Idaho students to death in 2022 during a home invasion, is being sentenced. Students Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle and Madison Mogen were killed in their off‑campus home in the city of Moscow, Idaho. Two other students were present but survived. Dylan Mortensen survived the attack and read a statement in court. Kohberger avoided the death penalty when he pleaded guilty earlier this month. He has never given a motive.
