Two women arrested for assisting Orleans jail escapees, Louisiana State Police say

Two women, Courtnie Harris (32) and Corvanntay Baptiste (38), were arrested for allegedly assisting inmates to escape from the Orleans Justice Center on May 16. Harris is accused of contacting an inmate before the escape and later driving two fugitives to various locations in New Orleans, including assisting escapee Leo Tate. Both were charged as accessories after the fact.
