In 2022, Usolye‑Sibirskoye won a national competition for creating a comfortable urban environment. In 2023, the first stage of the beautification along Internaциональная Street was completed, covering the stretch from Matrosova Street to house No. 20. The project, titled "City from a Tram Window", was part of the federal "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" initiative. In 2023, another victory was achieved, and in spring 2024 the second stage began, extending to the Children’s Creativity House. Throughout the summer, work continued on Internaциональная and Mendeleev streets, and the works are now concluding. The third stage, from the Children’s Creativity House to the UsolyeChemProm gate, will not take place this year as the competition was not won.
