The UK 2nd Edition Nintendo DS version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was released in 2008 as the follow‑up to the first edition and the last Nintendo‑exclusive version of the game. Unlike the first edition, this version uses the 12‑question format that was used on the actual show, and it is the only game to do so. No contestant has ever won the top prize on the UK show with this format; the highest amount won was £150,000. A fun fact is that, unlike the Wii port, the DS version includes video clips for both correct and incorrect answers.
