Demo of Spherical Space

The demo showcases a realistic real‑time rendering of spherical space, a non‑Euclidean geometry where a 3D volume is wrapped around the surface of a 4‑dimensional sphere. The camera travels around this 4‑sphere, and bobbing spheres illustrate how objects on the far side of the world can appear closer than those near the equator when viewed from the top. The visualization is analogous to a 2D character moving on the surface of a 3D sphere, where straight lines are geodesics that bend only in higher dimensions. Spherical space is continuous yet finite, and the creator plans to extend the engine to simulate relativity by adding a time dimension and possibly another spatial dimension, using a higher‑dimensional surface to model the curvature of light and gravity.
