The video game "John Carpenter" lets players win millions of dollars in a "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" style game without using any lifelines. The DVD version, released in November 2004, is one of the few adaptations from the second English DVD edition, featuring a money tree based on the 2002‑2008 version converted from Dutch guilders to euros. It is the only "Weekend Miljonairs" edition narrated by Robert ten Brink and shares the same prize draw as the first Australian DVD edition and all second English DVD edition spin‑offs.
