Hakim federal blokir pemerintahan Trump untuk mencopot direktur Voice of America

A federal judge blocked the Trump administration from firing Michael Abramowitz, the director of Voice of America, ruling that he could not be dismissed without the approval of the International Broadcasting Advisory Board. Abramowitz had been placed on administrative leave and was slated for termination amid a mass layoff affecting more than 600 employees. Judge Royce Lamberth described the planned dismissal as clearly unlawful. Voice of America, along with its affiliated networks such as Radio Free Europe and Radio Martí, reaches over 400 million people worldwide and serves to promote U.S. influence globally.
