The University of Hawaiʻi Men's Basketball team secured a second road victory at the Icardo Center, defeating the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners 61-50. Early in the game, both teams struggled to find their rhythm, with neither shooting well in the first ten minutes. JoVon McClanahan led the starting lineup, while Justus Jackson, coming off the bench, delivered a career‑high 16 points to guide the 'Bows. UH entered the first half with a 28-24 advantage, thanks to a buzzer‑beating half‑court heave by McClanahan that extended the lead to four points. Bakersfield’s Antaveon Collum scored 19 points, but the Roadrunners were unable to keep pace. In the second half, Bakersfield narrowed the gap to 43-42, yet UH rallied with seven unanswered points, highlighted by a Mor Seck alley‑oop from Beon Riley and four triples from Jackson. The 'Bows pulled away from that point and ultimately secured the win. UH will return to the islands for their final two home games against UC Riverside on February 23 and UC Irvine on February 25.
