India Blows Up Pak Drones, Neutralises Lahore Air Defence System | Jist

India responded swiftly in retaliation to Pakistan's drone attacks in northern and western regions on the night of May 7. India's Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems along with Harpy drones neutralised Pakistani drone attacks in several areas including Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai and Bhuj. In retaliation, India has neutralised Pakistan's air defence system in Lahore. In New Delhi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh told an all-party meeting that 100 terrorists had been killed in the 9 airstrikes under Operation Sindoor to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack. Meanwhile, tensions have escalated on the LoC especially in Poonch where 16 civilians including 5 children have been killed in unprovoked firing from the Pakistani side.
