India extends its "deepest condolences", a foreign ministry spokesman says, after a London-bound passenger plane crashed in a residential area of the Western city of Ahmedabad. "What has happened in Ahmedabad is a very tragic accident," says foreign ministry spokesman, Randhir Jaiswal.
