The 129th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade is fighting in Kursk, confronting Russian forces that are attempting to encircle Ukrainian units. Commander Yevhen Duda, a call sign Regbist, explains that the Russians are trying to strike from the flank to cut off the Ukrainian contingent. The brigade has split the Ukrainian grouping into southern and northern sectors, entering Kurylivka in the Kursk region and approaching the Yunakivka–Sudzhah line, capturing Novynke and Basivka in the Sumy region. Duda notes that in some directions they have not seen equipment for a long time, but here the equipment was moving so fast that it was necessary to ensure enough resources to destroy it. On the brigade’s front lines, Russian forces are actively trying to reclaim territory controlled by the defenders. The terrain, with its elevation changes and dense forests, complicates UAV operations, yet pilots attach munitions to the hexacopter "Vampir," which then flies to destroy Russian infantry and equipment.
