The first stage of the Battle of Schools figure skating will take place on 30 September at the small arena of Moscow CSKA Arena. Teams of the best schools, including students from sports institutions across Russia, will compete in junior and senior categories, men's and women's singles. Spectators will see exhibition performances by famous alumni. The opening headliners will be Sofya Akatyeva and Adelina Petrosyan. The Cup is organized by the Moscow Sports Department. The tournament will have six stages and a superfinal on 14 April 2024, where only the five round winners will compete. A similar format will be used for ice ballet competitions. After the final, organizers plan to create the first Moscow city children’s national team for the 2030 Olympic Games.
