In this video, I restore a heavily rusted 1970s scooter I bought for $40 at an online auction. I replaced the tires, grips, and missing rear spacer, and fabricated a new one from aluminum. I also tackled the chrome coating on the handlebars, opting for a nickel finish instead. After extensive research on resin, rubber casting, and metal forming, I polished and nickel‑plated all steel parts to protect against rust and achieve a uniform look. The project took 50 days in the workshop and resulted in a scooter with a gray‑blue paint, new white grips, and shiny nickel‑plated components.
