Deskripsi:

Slewing is a willow weaving technique that involves working two or more sticks together, one on top of the other, before and after alternating pegs. The process continues rotating on the basket side, requiring an odd number of pegs. For two sticks, you start with one stick as in randing; when half its length is worked, you place the second stick on top and work them together. When the lower stick finishes, you leave the upper part outside the basket and place the third stick on top of the others between the same pegs to form them again. The fourth stick is added when the second finishes, and so on. For three sticks, you start similarly, adding the second stick when about a third of the first stick is worked, and the third when about two‑thirds of the first is worked. This results in three sticks, maintaining the count by adding the top part over the others when the top ends below.
