Donald Trump dismissed hopes of progress at peace talks between Russia and Ukraine scheduled to take place in Turkey, telling reporters that nothing will happen until he meets Vladimir Putin. Ukraine’s President Zelensky has arrived in Turkey and said he is ready for the planned talks, but he accuses Putin of not being serious about the process after Russia made clear that Putin would not travel to Turkey for the negotiations. Meanwhile, President Trump’s Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he does not have high expectations of the peace talks.
