I got a little too zealous on the startup and wheelied my bike rignt out from under me and landed on my left knee ripping my ACL right off of the lower bone. I didn't think this was a big deal because I didn't know it was so bad. I just thought it was a sprain. So with some help I got back on the bike and finished the races for the day. Then when it was unbearable, I went to the hospital and found out just how bad it was later. I ended up needing surgery and was on crutches for three months. Sheesh.
