Parents of several children at a private school in Riga have reported repeated abuse by a teacher, claiming their children were repeatedly physically and emotionally mistreated. The school’s administration did not address the allegations, prompting the parents to file complaints with multiple authorities, including the police. The school director stated that the forthcoming investigation is expected to be positive, as it will help reach final conclusions, but also noted that it is too early to decide on the teacher’s dismissal.
