The UK 2nd Edition Nintendo DS version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was released in 2008 as the follow‑up to the first edition, and it was the last Nintendo‑exclusive version of the game. Unlike the first edition, this version uses the 12‑question format that the show itself uses, and it is the only Millionaire game to do so. No contestant ever won the top prize on the UK show with the 12‑question format; the highest amount reached was £150,000. The DS version also includes video clips that play when you answer a question correctly or incorrectly, a feature that the Wii port does not have.
