When we talk about India vs China, most people just think about GDP numbers or army strength. But the real difference is deeper, it’s about mindset, speed, innovation, and how each country is preparing its youth for the future. China is building 57-storey buildings in just 19 days, while in India even a simple flyover can take nine years to complete. China has pulled 850 million people out of poverty, whereas India still struggles with basic jobs, skills, and infrastructure. Recently, our Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said, "Most Indian startups are making ice creams and cookies instead of real innovation." The reality is that when entrepreneurs try to work on deep‑tech, they don’t get the right support—no infrastructure, no funding, too many approvals, and a broken system. Today, China leads the world in manufacturing, AI, robotics, and education; their children start learning coding and robotics from Class 1. In India, many students still don’t know basic computer skills even after graduation. If we really want to win the India‑vs‑China race, we need to upgrade the mindset of India’s youth. We need more creators, innovators, and builders—not just job seekers.
