Baboons take selfies after phone falls into Netherlands zoo enclosure

Baboons at a Netherlands zoo went ape taking videos with a woman’s phone after she dropped it into their enclosure. Shehrazad Aicha Bahloul was visiting the Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen, Netherlands, with her children and a friend on Thursday, May 29. They were near the hamadryas baboons when someone knocked into her back and she dropped her iPhone into their enclosure. The baboons immediately took her phone. Bahloul told a zoo employee that they would try to get the phone back. Though the phone was returned, it was completely destroyed. When she checked her iCloud, she found the baboons had used it to film seven videos. She said it was funny but she would have preferred her phone not to have fallen into the enclosure.
