Borderlands 4 is a mayhem‑fueled looter shooter jam‑packed with billions of weapons, outrageous enemies, and intense co‑op action. Players explore the dangerous hidden planet Kairos as one of four new badass Vault Hunters, breaking free from the oppressive Timekeeper, a ruthless dictator who dominates the masses from on high. A world‑altering catastrophe threatens his perfect Order, unleashing mayhem across the planet. Players ignite a resistance and blast their way through mechanical monstrosities, bloodthirsty bandits, and vicious beasts, using new traversal mechanics such as double jumping, gliding, dodging, and fixed‑point grappling. The game can be played solo or in co‑op with up to three other players, offering free‑form combat, exploration, pulse‑pounding boss fights, infinitely varied loot drops, and an eclectic cast of unforgettable characters new and old.
