Dazzle Drums Love To Boogie (027) is a special mix from episode 27 featuring the Japanese DJ duo Dazzle Drums. After shows in Mallorca, they recorded an extended 7‑inch vinyl set, mixing 35 records in 90 minutes and showcasing their genre‑hopping style from disco to techno, blending soulful house with other sounds. The duo, who began DJing in the 90s and have released music on labels such as King Street Sounds, BBE, Afrocentric, Nulu Electronic and Tribe Records, have long residencies at Music Of Many Colours and Block Party in Tokyo. This is their first 7‑inch‑only set, and they thank collaborators Delonte Rivers, Hannah and Luna for making it possible, as well as Danny Krivit for introducing them to new music. The performance at Everybody Loves To Boogie, spanning from daytime to morning in Mallorca and continuing into London, was a moment that highlighted the power of music and the inspiration drawn from roots music beyond house.
