Leaf, Petal, and Thorn reach the top of Stucky Tower, where they confront the mayor, Stucky O'Maly, who is secretly the villain. He disguises himself with a mask and sends the SN‑78 Drone V3 to attack the team, but they defeat it and the mask falls off. Xankulos then reappears, condemning Stucky and kidnapping him to a new location. Thorn and Petal clash over how to handle Xankulos, with Thorn wanting to reseal him and Petal believing Stucky should be removed. A chest reveals a Stepped‑on Sand Castle, leading Thorn to question her own motives. The team then receives a Magic Crystal and leaves Stucky Tower, where Featherhorn crashes through a section of the tower and brings them to the Dreadlands, Thorn’s ancient home. Thorn, who looks young but is over 300 years old, is reluctant to treasure hunt, and Petal promises to help her find a more fulfilling life after the wizard adventure.
