Live from Moss Side (Part 3): Bionic & the Wires at Boiler House

Filmed at Manchester's Boiler House, the performance is fully improvised. Custom-built bionic arms and sensors translate the natural, unseen rhythms of living organisms into atmospheric soundscapes and botanical beats. A grey oyster mushroom appears to 'speak' up to 50 words, triggered by its own bioelectrical pulses, suggesting a form of communication that uses electrical impulses to form patterns resembling a language.
