On 23 June, Russian forces attacked Kyiv, killing eight people and injuring more than 30. In the Shevchenkivskyi district a search‑and‑rescue operation is underway after a multi‑storey building was damaged. In the Darnytskyi district drone debris fell on a two‑storey residential building. In Solomianskyi a private‑sector building caught fire and debris fell near a residential building. Two injured were hospitalized. In Sviatoshynskyi a window was damaged in a multi‑storey apartment, but no casualties were reported. Overnight the attack also affected the Kyiv region, with damage in Bila Tserkva, Bucha, Vyshhorod, and Boryspil. The Kyiv OVA head reported damage to 15 private houses, 6 multi‑storey buildings, 7 administrative buildings, enterprises, shops, four medical facilities, four educational institutions, and 14 vehicles in Bila Tserkva. The State Emergency Service clarified that a private clinic was hit, killing one person and injuring eight others, and six seriously ill patients were evacuated. In Boryspil, 16 private houses, vehicles, and commercial buildings were damaged. In Bucha, five private houses and four vehicles were damaged. In Vyshhorod, a private house was damaged.
