Smoke rises following airstrikes on the Abu Iskandar and Sheikh Radwan neighbourhoods in the north of Gaza City. A spokesman for the Israeli military said the evacuation of Gaza City was "inevitable" as the army prepares to conquer the Palestinian territory's largest city.
