Tarja Turunen e Mike Terrana 'Witch-Hunt' da 'Beauty & The Beat'

Beauty & The Beat is a concert that blends classical pieces from Bach, Mozart, Strauss, and Rossini with rock songs by Queen, Led Zeppelin, and Tarja, performed with a full orchestra and choir. Originally conceived as a one‑off event in 2011, the show was so well received that it toured again in 2013 from Poland to Russia to Mexico. Tarja explains that the idea of pairing a symphonic orchestra and choir with Mike Terrana on drums came from her desire to bring classical music to a younger audience, while Mike adds that he brings the rhythm and Tarja the beauty. The album, available in 2 CD, DVD, Blu‑ray and download, will be released on 30 May 2014 by earMUSIC.
