Hi, my name is Fee (Fiona). I have been suffering from severe scoliosis for almost two years, and I miss standing, walking, and dancing without pain. I feel like this is a jail sentence that could last for the next 50 years. I am not eligible for government funding in Australia, and my citizenship application is a long process that could take months. Each day is worse than the last, and my husband has to work hard to care for me and manage the house. I feel useless, a burden, and a prisoner in my own bedroom. I am desperate for help, as life feels not worth living when you are like this.
