Weekend Millionaires DVD is a John Carpenter game where you win a million dollars in a "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" style video game without using any save lines. The game was released in November 2004 as one of nine UK DVD-based games based on the second edition, just over a year after Menno de Rutjer missed the main prize in the actual show. The money tree was based on the 2002‑2008 version, converted from Dutch guilders to euros before the 12‑question format was adopted. This was the only Weekend Millionaires game narrated by Robert Ten Brink himself. The prize draw, apart from the first Australian DVD edition, is exactly the same as all other second‑edition UK DVD derivatives: Universal Mediterranea.
